17th Tac Fighter Squadron F-16C Desert Storm

17th Tac Fighter Squadron F-16C Fighting Falcon deployed to Al Minhad Air Base in the United Arab Emirates. This aircraft was part of the famous PUG Flight of eight F-16s which required four KC-135s to fly into Iraqi airspace early in Desert Storm because the entire group of 24 F-16s were not refueled prior to striking their targets near Baghdad. All of the F-16s got their gas and made it back to base.
