F-14A Tomcat CAMELOT 100 VF-14 Tophatters

F-14A Tomcat of Carrier Airwing Three’s VF-14 “Tophatters” aboard the USS John F Kennedy during Desert Storm. CAMELOT 100 was the CAG jet of VF-14. This is the paint scheme the jet wore just prior to the start of Desert Storm in January 1991. The Tomcat is armed for a Defensive Counter Air or DCA mission in the BONG Combat Air Patrol or CAP stations east of Baghdad attempting to cut off fleeing Iraqi Air Force fighters to Iran.
